A 3 month placement during the summer of 2022 followed by 10 months after graduation in 2023, I delved into tools engineering, frontend and backend programming, bug fixing, and data organization. Each day presented new challenges, fueling my passion for software development and providing invaluable learning experiences.

Spent six weeks as a QA intern at Sports Interactive during my summer break in 2021. My mission? Writing docs and playing detective, finding and squashing bugs. It was a crash course in attention to detail and my first experience in a contracted job.

For 8 months, I took on the role of a weekend warrior as a self-employed primary school tutor, helping young minds conquer maths and English. It was my chance to make learning fun and ignite a spark of curiosity in my students.

I set the bar high in uni and consistently surpassed it, so much so that even a B felt like a fail! But it wasn't all about hitting the books. I also spent time networking and developing personal projects as what i learnt wasn't just about making games; it was about learning how to turn them into a business.

I wear the pride of being an ELAM alumini on my sleeve. It was here that I learned the ropes of game development from scratch, and I excelled beyond expectations. My dedication and achievements were recognized with a scholarship and an internship at Sports Interactive upon graduating and I'll forever be grateful for the opportunities they provided me.
